I Spent a Night Alone in the Rain - Here's Why
After a week of being ill, I head back out to check on the canvas bell tent I set up in the woods. This solo overnight camp turned into more than just testing gear — it was about clearing my head, feeling better, and reconnecting with nature.
I talk about how getting outdoors helps my mental health, the challenge of being self-employed, and my 2,000-day alcohol-free milestone. The Canvas Tent Shop tent held strong through wind and heavy rain, making this my first proper canvas hot tent camp of the year.
If you’re struggling, I mention a great group called Andys Men’s Club — worth looking into if you need to talk. https://andysmanclub.co.uk/ I got tis wrong in the video
Watch me light the stove, make porridge for dinner, and ride out the rain in the woods.
